Seat the room with the notes catering actually needs
WeddingOS seating is an operational chart: tables, capacities, and the dietary or accessibility notes each guest asked you to share. It is not a public floor plan.
A chart the room can run from
Hosts assign guests to tables with capacities you set. The point is not a decorative diagram. It is a shared picture of who sits where when the venue, caterer, and hosts need the same answer.
Advanced Seating & Food Safety adds a dietary view by table and seat so food vendors can serve from the plan you approved — not from a last-minute group text.
Dietary notes without a diagnosis
Ask guests what they need communicated to the caterer. Store that as an operational note. Do not treat the chart as a medical record, and do not promise a kitchen guarantee the venue has not made.
Only hosts and the vendors they brief should see the full room. Guests do not receive another household’s meal notes from this page or from the guest portal.
When to add seating
You can collect RSVPs first, then seat when the headcount is real. Seating lives beside the guest list and timeline so a late decline or a plus-one changes the chart, not a separate spreadsheet.
Pricing stays sourced from the catalog: Advanced Seating & Food Safety is $29.99, or included in WeddingOS Premium at $149.99.
What this page is not
This guide does not publish anyone’s table assignment. Search engines should never see a live event chart. The product seating tool stays behind the host workspace.
If you need the guest-facing side of the same week — RSVP, travel, and a private party view — that lives on the guest experience page, not on a public seating URL.
Questions
How does seating stay tied to dietary needs?
Each seat can show the dietary or accessibility note the guest asked you to share with catering. The chart is an operational handoff, not a guess at medical advice.
Can we change tables after invitations go out?
Yes. Hosts update assignments in the workspace. The public page does not expose a live seating chart — only invited hosts see their event.
Is Advanced Seating required to start?
Advanced Seating & Food Safety is $29.99 as an add-on, or included in WeddingOS Premium. You can plan guests first and add seating when the room plan is real.
